Scientific seminar "Theory of Optimal Decisions": Using the Input-Output matrix to study macroeconomic processes

DEAR COLLEAGUES!

We invite you to participate in the scientific seminar "Theory of Optimal Decisions , which will take place on June 16, 2026 at 16:00.

Speakers: Viktor KuzmenkoEleonora Karpets (V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine)

Topic: Using the Input-Output matrix to study macroeconomic processes

Abstract: Presentation is devoted to the issues of modeling and using the mathematical apparatus of the "Input-Output" model. The properties of statistical "Input-Output" matrices, data aggregation, limitations of the "Input-Output" model, dynamic model that uses the product-technology matrix will be considered. The results of using developed software for the classical estimation of demand and supply, calculation of cost aspects of the model and econometric estimation of the dynamics of inter-industry relations will also be presented.
