On the Day of Science in Ukraine, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the creation of the first Small Electronic Calculating Machine (MELM, known as "MESM") in continental Europe, as well as to promote the historical heritage of information technologies in Ukraine, youth Engineering competitions will be held at the Institute of Cybernetics.
The event will begin on May 18, 2026, at 10:00.
Talented students of engineering specialties from Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, and Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture will participate.
The participating teams will present their own engineering developments, demonstrate practical hardware/software solutions, and present their projects to a professional jury.
